Barcelona have agreed to loan Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres to Juventus for next season, the European champions said on their website (www.fcbarcelona.cat) today.

The 22-year-old was signed from Villarreal in 2008 for 16.5 million euros but found his opportunities limited in Barca's treble-winning campaign last season.

Juventus have an option to buy Caceres for 11 million euros plus one million for variables at the end of the loan deal, Barca said.
