The organiser of a disco party has filed an application in court against the Police Commissioner, the president of the police board of appeal and the Attorney General for his appeal against a police decision to be heard with urgency.

Dr Roger de Giorgio said that he applied for and obtained a police license to hold a disco party on August 15. However, while he wanted the party to go on until 4 a.m., his license stipulated that this had to end at 2 a.m.

Dr de Giorgio argued that since August 15 was only a few days away, it was in his interest that the case was heard with urgency and decided as soon as possible.
