Chelsea's Argentine striker Franco Di Santo on Monday joined fellow Premier League side Blackburn Rovers on loan until January.

The 20-year-old joined Chelsea from Chilean side Audux Italiano in 2008 and made 16 appearances for the first team last season, all as a substitute.

The Blues confirmed the deal on their website (www.chelseafc.com).
