Birkirkara suffered their second successive defeat in the women's UEFA Champions League after they lost to hosts Brondby 6-0 in Group C yesterday.

Signe Andersen (38) and Nanna Larsen (45) put the Danish champions 2-0 up at the break before goals from Kristina Kragh (65, 73), Nanna Christiansen (80) and Line Hansen (89) completed an emphatic win for the home side.

The Stripes, who on Thursday lost to Portugal's Dezembro 10-0, will complete their commitments on Tuesday against Welsh side Cardiff .
