Seven students who will be carrying out voluntary work in Ethiopia next month have benefited from funds made available by The Bursary Fund of the Catenian Association.

The presentation of cheques to the voluntary workers was made by Catenian area president George Portelli to Charlene Attard, Anthea Brincat, Alison Brincat, Daniela Maria Callus, Samuel Meilak, Stephanie Mamo Portelli and Marija Farrugia. They are part of a group who will be assisting Sisters of Mother Teresa in their institute in Addis Ababa, which offers aid and shelter to a large number of men, women and children.

The presentation was held at the University Chapel, Tal-Qroqq, in the presence of Fr Michael Bugeja, who will be accompanying the volunteers on their mission.
