Volleyball marathon receives BoV support

Bank of Valletta supported this year's edition of the volleyball marathon, organised by Dar tal-Providenza, which saw 35 athletes playing volleyball continuously for 52 hours.

BoV legal and compliance chief officer Michael Borg Costanzi met Dar tal-Providenza director Fr Martin Micallef at the volleyball court, specifically set up for the marathon.

"We are very pleased to be supporting this year's marathon. Dar tal-Providenza is an organisation that plays an important role within Maltese society and we are pleased to make a contribution that will help this organisation give essential services to the community," said Dr Borg Costanzi.

Dar tal-Providenza, a residential home catering for people with disability, relies on the generosity of its benefactors and on donations it receives from the public to provide the high level of care for its residents to help them towards their eventual integration into society.
