Maltese chairs international conference

CareMalta CEO Alexander Tranter recently chaired the 8th international IAHSA conference held in London. Mr Tranter is the current serving chairman of the International Association for Homes and Services for the Ageing based in Washington DC.

IAHSA is the largest global ageing network reaching more than 25,000 ageing service providers across over 40 countries.

The three-day conference, which offered over 70 educational sessions and an array of international speakers, managed to attract over 750 delegates from 34 countries.

Delegates had the opportunity to also attend IAHSA's International Design for Ageing symposium and showcase, as well as an industry exhibition organised in conjunction with the conference.

During the Conference, Mr Tranter was presented with an IAHSA board citation, recognising his outstanding leadership contribution to IAHSA during his term as chair, which comes to an end next December.
