KDZ meets President

A delegation from the Diocesan Youth Commission (KDZ) including the Archbishop's delegate for young people Fr Savio Vella and young people from affiliated organisations, paid an official visit to President George Abela last Tuesday.

The young people shared with Dr Abela the collective work of young people in the diocese involved in projecting their hopes and wishes for marriage and family life.

They asserted their appreciation at being heard, acknowledged and that their work served to contribute to national debates on such subjects as the family.

President Abela encouraged and supported this approach to participating in civic society. He further argued that any national debate on the family should have at its core the stability and protection of children.
