Go supports Malta Red Cross

Go recently pledged its full support to the Malta Red Cross First Malta Branch and has donated funds.

To demonstrate the newly set up partnership between the two parties, both ambulances operated by the Malta Red Cross First Malta Branch now sport the GO logo on both sides and on the back of the vehicles.

The Malta Red Cross First Malta Branch is a humanitarian organisation that forms part of the International Red Cross Federation. The branch seeks to promote humanitarian principles and values, provide first aid coverage and support local health authorities and the civil protection department in case of national disaster via the professionalism and altruisim of its Disaster Response team.

The vast list of events attended and monitored by the Disaster Response team is on the increase and the massive amount of local events includes the Isle of MTV, various marathons, athletic and cycling events, MTA activities such as Notte Bianca, Birgu by Night, Streets Alive, L-Istrina, village feasts, beer festivals, concerts, P1 boat races, car races Grand Prix de Malte, sports competitions, private parties - and more.

Go has, on many occasions, sponsored these popular events.
