A 16-year-old boy from Zabbar suffered life-threatening injuries in an incident at his home in Agostino Said Street, Zabbar, the police said this evening.

The incident happened in the morning and the boy was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital, where he remains in intensive care.

The nature of the incident was not disclosed. The boy is suffering head injuries.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi is holding an inquiry.
