Tomorrow sees the publication of the fifth issue in the Miranda 360° collection of magazines published with The Times monthly.

Malta's treasures are stunning when seen in the light of day. They're simply dramatic when viewed at night-time. Malta 360° By Night outlines the islands' many vistas that take on an altogether different aspect in the dark.

Renovation projects giving due importance to lighting have immensely helped the Maltese islands take on a new lease of life at night. Fort St Angelo, Portes des Bombes, Vilhena Palace in Mdina, the Red Tower in Mellieħa and many palaces and churches are now a true sight at night.

A number of the country's main monuments have been specifically lit up to take pictures that will show themselves in a completely unique light. The Prime Minister's residence at Girgenti, caves, Ħaġar Qim and St Paul's islands, among others, feature in this publication and can be seen from a different perspective, so to speak.

Activities at night, above all during summer, are cool in more ways than one: cruise liners, horse-racing at night in Marsa, fireworks reflected across harbours. Malta and Gozo are eye-catching in any light; have a look at them at night and one will be very pleasantly surprised.

The Miranda 360° collection is printed by Progress Press, a member of the Allied Group. As customary, tomorrow's issue will be printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper. FSC is an international, non-profit organisation that promotes the responsible management of the world's forests and helps ensure they will not be destroyed for future generations.

Tomorrow, the price of The Times will increase from 60c to €1.
