Police arrest man found in possession of heroin
A 26-year-old man from Żejtun has been arrested after he was found in possession of heroin yesterday afternoon.
The police said they receiving information that a man was probably selling drugs in Xgħajra.
They observed the man and found he was using a residence in Xgħajra to sell the drugs. When he was stopped by the police he was found in possession of several packets of heroin ready to be sold. More drug related items were found at the residence.
The man is expected to be arraigned on drug trafficking charges in the coming days.
