Triple Olympic champion Usain Bolt reacted with surprise to reports that relay colleague Yohan Blake is one of five Jamaican athletes to have given a positive dope test.

Five Jamaicans - four men and a woman - were confirmed as having failed dope tests on Friday although none of the quintet are thought to be among the island's medal winners from last year's Beijing Games.

Blake and Bolt were members of a quartet that won the 4x100m relay at the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace on Saturday in 37.46 seconds, the fourth fastest time in history.

Asked if he had to give Blake any reassurance, Bolt told reporters: "No, he's all right, he's all right."

Reflecting on the five tests as a whole, Bolt added: "We have to wait until the B sample is tested first before we know if it's serious or it's not".
