A part-time evening course leading to a Master of Education in Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) is being offered by the University's Faculty of Education in conjunction with the European Centre for Educational Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health.

The course starts in October and aims to provide qualified teachers in the skills needed to teach and support individual students/groups of students with SEBD, and provide behaviour support and advice to staff, parents and others involved in the education of such students.

Participants will learn to understand the nature of social, emotional and behaviour difficulties in school, and how to assess and address the needs of students with SEBD at various levels and contexts. Applicants should be qualified teachers who are teaching during the course.
