WICT 2009 is the second national ICT conference organised by the University of Malta's Faculty of ICT.

The aim of this conference is to promote research and applications of technologies and practices in the field of ICT. WICT 2009 solicits the submission of high quality original papers dealing with theoretical and practical aspects of the industry.

Topics should include any aspect of computer information systems, computer science, artificial intelligence, communications and computer engineering, micro and nano electronics. This year the committee has established an Award for Best Paper to be presented at WICT '09 . Papers are to be submitted by September 21. Formatted papers must be no longer than six pages.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. Submissions and reviewing will be handled through the workshop website using the Easy Chair system. The submission platform will be open from August.
