€2.1 million air-conditioning tender goes to Panta

Fort Cambridge Development has awarded a €2.1 million air-conditioning infrastructural works contract to Panta Contracting Ltd. Once installed, all apartments will boast a water-cooled air-conditioning system, which although involving a considerable investment, will lead to significant energy savings for property owners.

Speaking about the award of this tender, Fort Cambridge chairman George Muscat said: "We wanted to ensure that our preferred supplier has the right expertise and necessary know-how to work on large-scale developments, such as Fort Cambridge. In Panta Lesco we have found the right partner ."

Panta Contracting Ltd, through its Mitsubishi Electric brand, was also nominated as one of the preferred suppliers for the supply of air-conditioning units within the apartments.

The company is highly experienced in air-conditioning installations, having 50 years' experience in the building services industry.

In recent months the company has also been awarded contracts for other large-scale projects, including the US Embassy and the new facilities for Progress Press and Foster Clark.
