Police find half a kilo of heroin, man arrested
A Maltese man has been arrested after the discovery of more than half a kilo of heroin last night, the police said.
The discovery was made after an operation lasting several weeks.
The man, a 36-year-old from Tarxien, was stopped by the police last night and found in possession of 56 capsules of heroin with a total of more than half a kilo of heroin.
He was at the time accompanied by his 10-year-old son.
Cash was found in the car.
