Ta' Monita September target reached in July

Sales targets for September for Ta' Monita Residence will be reached by the end of this month, the Tumas Group Property marketing office has announced.

The development, a joint project by the Tumas and Gasan Groups, is a new lifestyle-standard setting development in Marsascala. Launched on June 30, the sales and marketing team say it has been an "unqualified success".

In the same way that Portomaso set standards for the St Julians area and Tas-Sellum Residence set new standards for the north, Ta' Monita is expected to have a similar positive impact on Marsascala.

When asked about the timing of the market launch, Joe Gasan and George Fenech, the driving forces behind the project, said the current global economic climate should also be considered a time of opportunity and challenge. The groups' expertise in large scale developments allow them to assess a project from all view points, evaluate its viability and commercial sense.

Maurice Tabone, Ta' Monita sales and marketing director, stressed that a project of this calibre in the south of the island is long overdue and the initial response has vindicated this view.

Ta' Monita Residence covers an area of 16,000 square metres and its redevelopment will result in apartments ranging from studio flats to three-bedroom apartments and penthouse. The facilities include a swimming pool, a pjazza and underground parking with most flats having seaviews.

Low building density, lavish and sensitive landscaping, and attractive elevations will go a long way in upgrading the locality. Besides meeting local demand, the company aims to attract foreign high net worth individuals whose investment makes a significant high contribution to local economic activity.

Ta' Monita is a "Special Designated Area" giving foreigners flexibility and favourable conditions when purchasing property in the complex.
