No one was injured when a single-engined propellor aircraft, a Piper Warrior II, belonging to the European Pilot Academy was slightly damaged while landing at Malta International Airport at around 1 p.m.

The aircraft momentarily veered off the runway on landing hitting a no entry sign in a disused taxiway.
