The recent proper surfacing of tracts of roads in Buġibba and Qawra is most welcome. Previous regular roadworks were carried out using cold tarmac, never lasting long. This was a waste of money and roads remained dangerously shabby. Well done to mayor Graziella Galea and whoever was involved in making our roads safer.
