More works needed at St Paul's Bay
Well done St Paul's Bay council for the achievement Peter Abela is bragging about (July 10) and the one-, two- and three-phase projects, whatever they may be. Can we know when the most expensive toilets in Malta, near the Sirens pitch, are going to be...

Can we know when the most expensive toilets in Malta, near the Sirens pitch, are going to be utilised? One should take a stroll near the Wignacourt Tower. There is a patch of soil and it is full of dog's pooh, next to a dog refuse bin. In the same area the concrete bollards have been there for many years; they are still in concrete form and never painted.
Does anyone remember that some years ago a festoon of lights was installed in Buġibba promenade and only lasted a little less than a summer?
What about money down the drain with the water fountain opposite Bay Square?
What about a stroll along the promenade from Amazonia to Fra Ben? Look at the shrubs and the rubbish there.
One should also have a look at the roundabout in Wesgħa Mary Doris Zarb; the attendants come and water the plants, even though 35 per cent of them are dead.
Well done also to St Paul's Bay local council for putting up planters along the pavement in Buġibba, the only walkable pavement - the pavement has grown a lot smaller.
When are we going to learn?
