Radio stations were knocked off the air again, the second time today, for nearly another hour.

All stations except those run by PBS went off air at 6.15 p.m with transmissions returning at 7.10 p.m.

They were also off the air this morning between 7.15 and 8.15 after a contractor hit power cables at Gharghur, where the transmitting mast is located.

PBS transmits from different facilities.

Enemalta said this afternoon, before the second transmission cut, it was considering legal action against the contractor.
