Young goalkeeper for Chieti trial
Up-and-coming goalkeeper Noel Attard will have a three-day trial with Italian Serie C2 club ASD Chieti Calcio this week.
Attard, who is on the books of Mosta, was one of 17 young Maltese goalkeepers, all members of the Mario Muscat Goalkeepers' School, who recently had a training camp at Scuola Numero Uno in Italy.
The 18-year-old was invited to train with Chieti after leaving a positive impression on some scouts who watched him train at Scuola Numero Uno last week.
