BONNICI. JOSEPH, 65, from Paola, and residing at Birkirkara, passed peacefully away on July 17 comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply missed by his beloved wife Lilian née Azzopardi, his son Fr Keith, his sisters Carmen and her husband Emanuel Saliba, Rose and her husband Carlo Scardini of Rome, his brother Emanuel and his wife Agnes, their families, his wife's family, several relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Helen's basilica in Birkirkara where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Lifecycle or Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

CASHA KENYON. On July 19, CLAIRE MARIE of Żurrieq, passed peacefully away at the age of 27, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her grandmother Anna, her parents-in-law Gertrude and Charles, her uncles Carmel and his wife Rita, Saviour and his wife Monica, her aunt Catherine and her husband Conrad, her cousins Charmaine, Jeffrey, Andre, Joseph, Elaine and Stefanie, her sisters-in-law Louise and Michelle, her brother-in-law Paul, nephews Justin and Dorian, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital tomorrow for Żurrieq parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at San Leone cemetery, Żurrieq. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CASSAR. On July 17, DENNIS from Tarxien went to meet the Risen Lord at the age of 39. He leaves to mourn his loss his partner Marisa, his children Katia and Aaron, his brothers Eric and his wife Caroline, Lino and his wife Margaret, his sisters Dorothy and her husband Charlie, Helen and her husband David who reside in the UK, Rosey and her husband Tony, Marlene and Ray, his partner's family, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Annunciation church, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorate cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

LAGANÀ. on July 19, at St Luke's Hospital, ELIZABETH, of Vittoriosa, aged 80 years, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her children Louis and his wife Rita, Mary and her husband Paul, Therese and her husband Angelo, Albert and his wife Rose, Joseph and his wife Elaine, grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families, her brothers and sisters, her in-law, nephews and nieces, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Our Lady of the Annunciation, Dominican church in Vittoriosa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant her eternal rest.

Car wash in aid of charity

LIFT Voluntary is organising a Car Wash activity in aid of Inspire, the Eden and Razzett foundation. The event will be held next Saturday and Sunday at Ta' Fra Ben car park in Qawra. Come and donate €5 for charity while having your car cleaned up.
