A 14-year-old boy was granted bail today after having been accused of stabbing and seriously injuring the former boyfriend of his sister and threatening him during a big fight in St Paul's Bay on Saturday evening.

The boy is alleged to have waved a knife at Ibrahim Rahman, slashing one of his arms. He denied the charges and was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €10,000.

Magistrate Edwina Grima warned the boy to beware because his father would lose the €10,000 if he breached the bail conditions.
