11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from participants in a volleyball marathon in aid of Dar tal-Providenza, at the Palace, Valletta.

12 p.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the board members of The Today Public Policy Institute, at the Palace, Valletta.

5.30 p.m. The President is presented with books published by Michael Ellul, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

7.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Belgian Ambassador Jean-François Delahaut and Mrs Delahaut to mark Belgium's national day, at their residence in Madliena.

Wednesday

11 a.m. The President meets the staff of the National Commission Persons with a Disability at their premises in Sta Venera.

Thursday

9 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace, Attard.

10 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the members of the Maltese Association of Women in Business at the Palace, Valletta.

11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the members of the National Youth Council at the Palace, Valletta.

12 p.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the director and senior staff of the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine, at the Palace, Valletta.

8.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by the Egyptian Ambassador and Mrs Abdelkarim Soliman to mark Egypt's national day, at their residence in Kappara.

Friday

The President hosts a luncheon in honour of the newly appointed Members of the European Parliament at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

6 p.m. The President, accompanied by Mrs Abela, inaugurates a volleyball marathon in aid of Dar tal-Providenza at the home in Siġġiewi.

8 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend the Annual Anniversary Reunion Dinner hosted by Din l-Art Ħelwa at San Anton Gardens, Attard.
