• The annual Diocesan Marian Manifestation is being held in Valley Road, Marsalforn, on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. An animated rosary will be followed by Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.

• The management and staff of the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana, are holding a fundraising barbecue in aid of diver Louis Bonavia next to the hotel's Bastion Pool on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets cost €18 for adults and €10 for children over 10.
