Malta Enterprise is holding an afternoon seminar on 'Doing Business with India' at its San Ġwann premises on July 27 as it prepares to organise a business delegation to India for November.

Speakers at the seminar include Mr G. Srivastava, director and head of strategy and policy co-ordination at the Chamber of Indian Industries, Malta's High Commissioner to New Delhi Wilfred Kenely, Malta Enterprise and Malta Industrial Parks executive chairman Alan Camilleri and official Robert Falzon, Toly Products Ltd chairman and chief executive officer Andy Gatesy, Aurobindo Ltd general manager Frederick Schembri and HSBC official Charles Cini.

India is Asia's third largest economy behind Japan and China with a total GDP last year of $1,209 billion. Services, industry and agriculture amount to 55, 27 and 18 per cent of GDP respectively.

The increasingly affluent middle class comprises over 50 million Indians - this income bracket is expected to grow tenfold by 2025.
