It is amazing to notice that, since the new hard-working Pietà mayor took office and a notice at the marina end of Sqaq Nru.1 was put up, warning people not to dump any rubbish there, it has become a daily occurrence for certain individuals to defy the notice and continue to deposit all sorts of rubbish and other material, day and night.

The results are obvious especially during the weekends when rubbish is not collected. Rats and other scavengers are having a feast day to the detriment of the local residents.

Perhaps the local council can look into this situation and come up with a better and stricter solution.
