Global Capital appoints insurance division head

Financial services group Global Captial has appointed Ramon Mizzi president of its insurance arm.

Mr Mizzi will now be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the Group's insurance operations as well as the further development of the Group's corporate business. He has taken responsibility of three operations within Global Capital's Insurance Division - life, health and insurance broking.

A chartered insurer and legal procurator, Mr Mizzi started his professional career 24 years ago, holding several senior executive positions with local insurance operators.

Global Capital also operates in the investments and property business.
