Their morale sky-high after advancing to the second qualifying round of the Europa League at the expense of Icelandic side Keflavik, Valletta landed in Dublin this afternoon ahead of their encounter with Irish Premier League side St Patrick's on Thursday evening.
Valletta had their first training session this evening on a pitch adjacent to Citywest Hotel, the squad's base during their stay in Dublin.
Coach Ton Caanen put his players through their paces on a pitch rendered soggy by drizzling rain.
Doding Priso is expected to link up with the squad tomorrow after visa problems prevented the Cameroonian winger-cum-forward from making the trip to Ireland with the rest of the Valletta contingent today.
Tomorrow evening, Valletta will train at Richmond Park, the venue of Thursday's Europa League match.
