It astounds me to read Sliema mayor Nikki Dimech's reply regarding the new Sliema Ferries parking arrangements and hiding behind the legal notice. Can anyone in his right mind turn the Ferries (the very heart of the commercial town) into residential parking only?

If the mayor really has Sliema and the residents at heart he should have a walk around to see first-hand the filth, the potholes, the broken pavements and the inexistent street markings.

Things never change - we are back to square one.
