Palazzo Parisio hosts Oprah
American chat show queen Oprah Winfrey spent almost four hours of her recent one day stop-over in Malta at Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar. The palazzo only received official confirmation of Ms Winfrey's visit on the day, although enquiries were made three months earlier. Ms Winfrey toured the gardens before opting for a buffet lunch of Mediterranean antipasto accompanied by champagne. Later, she selected personal gifts from the Palazzo's shop.
