The historic tower at Mġarr ix-Xini was inaugurated following extensive restoration works.

The works have been going on for several years and were concluded recently in a joint effort between the Gozo Ministry and Wirt Għawdex.

A substantial part of the works was financed through funds collected by Wirt Għawdex, while the ministry provided the scaffolding and workers.
