The Malta Council for Science and Technology is organising Researchers' Night on September 25 in Valletta. The idea is to improve the public perception of researchers and their jobs while stimulating students to opt for science careers and showing their parents that there is a future in science.

The event will consist of a number of activities including a musical concert that will be broadcast live on TVM. There will also be a number of science cafes where the public will be able to engage in a discussion on a scientific topic relevant to society today, interactive science entertainment for children, and a European corner in which to showcase European funded research projects.
