Dudley Shallcross, Tim Harrison and their outreach team from Bristol Chem Lab visited Malta for three days, during which they delivered six performances of a scientific experiment lecture entitled 'A Pollutant's Tale'.

A total of 1,550 students from 15 schools attended the shows, which featured several experiments using methanol, the burning of acetylene, and the exploding of hydrogen filled balloons. Chem Lab also gave a session on climate change at University for trainee teachers and science undergraduates.

Prof. Shallcross and Mr Harrison first visited Malta in October 2007.
