Maltese Australian to launch debut album in Malta

Singer songwriter Jay P (Joseph Portelli) is heading to Malta and Gozo after having performed in London at The Bedford and The Regal Room following the launch of his debut album in Melbourne.

Jay P’s 1970’s soft rock style has proven quite popular with Australian and now English audiences, with both venues in London streaming Jay P’s performance live on their websites, attracting an international audience, including an ever-growing allegiance of fans of his in Australia, United States, Canada and the UK.

Jay P is currently in talks to launch his debut album in Malta towards the end of this month, as well as the music video to Goodbye, exclusively to Malta. Talks are also being held to have Jay P’s album 1565 Patiently Waiting available for sale in the Maltese Islands.

Following his UK & Malta promotional tour, Jay P will be heading back home to Melbourne for the launch of Alzheimer’s Australia National Ad Campaign featuring his song, Think Ahead to Go Ahead, then jetting off to the United States to perform as a special guest at the International Alzheimer’s Day event being held in New York, on September 21.

Jay P is also one of the main performers at the Malta DownUnder Festival of Music, Fashion & Food being held in Melbourne September 27.
