Minn daqshekk fuq din nixtieq li konna bhat-Taljani ghax l-Italja jekk tkun taf taghmel xi haga (anke li forsi jafu jaghmlu mijiet ohra fid-dinja) jgholluk fuq pedestal. Nixtieq li l-Maltin ikunu jafu iktar dwar it-talenti li hawn go Malta u ohrajn mifruxin mad-dinja u li nitghallmu nkunu kburin bihom. Qed nikteb bil-Malti ghax inhoss li l-lingwa taghna tista tigi mnizzla ma' dik il-lista ta' affarijiet li ghandna ghalxiex inkunu kburin bihom. Prosit Joseph.

I am not a fun of of the opera, but it makes me so proud to hear the name of Joseph Calleja being mentioned in the media.
We all should be proud that he is making a name for himself and for our country. I always watch with interest when he is on the TV stations.
Well done. Malta is proud of you.

I Currently live in the UK, and a friend of mine, who is english, went to see this particular performance La Traviata, withouth knowing that Joseph was Maltese.
The comments when she came back were that Joseph COMPLETELY outshone the rest, and his performance was majestic. When I told her, he was Maltese she couldn't believe it :) He was on a completely on another level.
JOSEPH YOU MAKE US PROUD!
Another evidence of the Success of a fellow Country Man.
