Real still after Liverpool's Alonso

Real Madrid are still chasing Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso, sporting director Miguel Pardeza said today.

"Madrid should not rule out an option until it has been finally closed off," Pardeza said at a news conference.

"Right now there is an insurmountable economic barrier but it is something that can change," he said, adding that the club was looking at alternatives to Alonso but Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas was not a target.

by paying that money for ronaldo,,,,, how can Real expect that they do not pay a hefty price for Alonso???????? may i point out that IF,,, Alonso goes to Real,,,,there is a good chance that Ronaldo will be out ((for some reason or another)) MUCH before Alonso will. and surely,,,,, at a lower price than they have bought him!!!!!!!! so please Real,,,,, if you want Alonso ,,,,, prepare the MONEY.
