Woman seriously injured in Qala car plunge

A mother of two was seriously injured when her car fell between Qala and Hondoq ir-Rummien onto the rocks below - a plunge of several storeys. The incident happened at about 1 p.m.
The woman had been in a maroon coloured Peugeot. She was rescued by Civil Protection Department personnel and is being treated in hospital.
