The 60-hour fund raising marathon Oħloq Tbissima starts tomorrow, packed with dance and musical activities aimed at collecting money for the St Paul Missionary priests.

From noon on Friday until midnight on Sunday, the yard at St Joseph Home in Santa Venera will be transformed into a studio from where the live broadcasting marathon will take place.

There will be a children's corner, youth talent shows, quizzes and an evening variety show with singers who will include Georgina, Mary Rose Mallia, Renato, Jon Lucas, Alison Ellul, Bayzo, Trilogy, Kylie and Klinsmann, Eleonor Cassar, Pamela, Nadine Axisa and violinist George Curmi Il-Puse'. Dancers from established companies will also take part. The marathon will be inaugurated by President George Abela and his wife Margaret and Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, among others.

On Sunday at 11.15 p.m., Winter Moods will perform on the main stage, followed by tenor Joseph Calleja, who will bring the marathon to a close.

The marathon will be broadcast live on Education 22 with Net TV, One TV, Calypso Music TV and other television and radio stations.
