A taste of summer with E&D

The Times' food and drink magazine, E&D, will be a jam-packed issue full of seasonal delights, with recipes to keep readers cool and refreshed during the warm months.

Resident chef Concita Demicoli is back with a selection of recipes based on the favourite summer vegetable (or fruit) - the humble tomato. Tomatoes are in full season and this collection of recipes will go down a treat with all those who like to make the most of Malta's fresh produce.

On the drinking front, this month's spotlight is on that well-loved summer drink - tequila. Whether it's a cocktail, a long drink of a slammer, E&D tells you how to get it right. And because by now even school holidays have started and all parents can spend time at the beach, there's also a review of Malta's top beaches, including where to get the best ice-creams, coffees and snacks.
