Two days of great wine at the Wine Experience

The 4th Edition of the Wine Experience organised by P. Cutajar is being held on Monday and Tuesday at the Razzett l-Abjad.

P. Cutajar’s Wine Experience is offering patrons the opportunity to taste 40 different wines from various regions of the world including the well-known regions of Piedmont and Verona, as well as other regions from France, Chile, South Africa, California, and this year also Portugal. They will also have the opportunity to buy any of the wines.

The event will be attended by five foreign experts and wine masters who will share their expertise and experiences during workshops and informal talk.

Representatives from Portugal’s Altas Quintas, and Italy’s Martini, Bersano and Pasqua as well as from Grand Chais de France will hold five tutorials, offering tips on wine appreciation, grape origins, differences in grape varieties, wine regions of the world, fermentation processes, and the background and history of wines imported to Malta and enjoyed by local consumers.

“The event is intended for people who love their wine,” said sales and marketing director Denis Zammit Cutajar.

“We are targeting people who would like to enhance their knowledge about the wine world and who would like to know more about the wines they are buying, and promise an enjoyable evening or two in the company of fellow wine lovers and connoisseurs,” he added.

Booking for the tutorials is recommended as space is limited.

There is a €5 admission fee per couple, which amount will be given back as tokens towards purchase of wine, discounted for the occasion. Doors open at 7.30 pm.
