I agree with Renzo Piano that the opera house should not be a replica of the original but as soon as I saw the model I was struck by how much it resembled the building site down the street. The difference was that the model had Perspex round it and the building site had green netting. Come on Mr Piano, surely you can do better than that. Cut out the fancy talk and give us a proper opera house as befits our city.
