Farm occupied illegally on the University grounds

A farm is being occupied illegally on the University’s grounds, Education Minister Dolores Cristina has confirmed in Parliament.

Replying to a parliamentary question, the minister said that the farm, opposite the sports pavilion, was on grounds belonging exclusively to the University.

She said that since the University did not have access to the farm, it did not know what it was being used for, but it was clear that several animals were being bred there.

The university is taking legal action to stop the abuse.
