The Medical Association of Malta is urging the Social Policy Ministry and Sedqa agency to implement a collective agreement signed almost two years ago.

The union said that, while it appreciated that a new chief executive officer had just taken office, it was time for the agency to do justice with its employees and find a satisfactory outcome in the immediate future.

The union said it trusted the ministry would send the right signal to the public that it was giving the issue of drug dependence its deserved priority.
