The maritime authority is investigating a collision between a Maltese-flagged cargo ship and a Norwegian chemical tanker off Copenhagen in Denmark last Friday.

The authority said the MV Kapitan Kus, carrying metal, steel coils and radioactive material, was in collision with the tanker Sundstraum at about 3 p.m. and sustained damage on the port side.

The hold where the radioactive cargo was stored was not damaged, it said.

No casualties or pollution was reported.
