The Malta FA brought the curtains down on season 2008-09 on Saturday evening with the staging of its annual awards ceremony at the Montecristo Estates in Luqa. Players who were voted best in their respective categories and the top scorers in the various divisions last season were honoured for their feats. Joe Mifsud, the Malta FA president, and Clyde Puli, the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport, presented the trophies to the winners.
