The number of refugees with regular working permits is currently 50, Social Policy Minister John Dalli told Labour MP Carmelo Abela in reply to a parliamentary question. Statistics are kept as to where they are employed.

Minister Dalli added that there were also 1,266 illegal immigrants who have a working permit.
