The Valletta plans (5)

Reviewing Renzo Piano's excellent designs for the rehabilitation of Valletta, I was struck by the idea that the new building for Parliament will be a "zero CO2 emission building". In preparing his plans for this august building, has Mr Piano been given excerpts of the parliamentary debates? Just asking!

If you need a tooth filling, you go to a dental clinic not a supermarket. If you need a 'green' building, you consult an expert in the field, not a cook.

Even if the roof of this building is covered with solar panels and a wind turbine erected on top of that, it would still not generate enough electricity to run it. What does Piano intend to run it on? Bio gas? Yes, that's the answer! Pure genius.
